Celebrations and Events

All year long, Canada’s Capital Region is alive with a wide range of interesting activities. The NCC provides public programming and events that promote national pride and unity, make the Capital region Canada’s meeting place, and communicate Canada to Canadians as well as to visitors from outside Canada. Programs and activities are hosted in every season in the heart of the Capital, in the region’s parks and green spaces, on Parliament Hill, and along Confederation Boulevard and the Rideau Canal Skateway.
